A Fairfield apartment complex is the 1st in Solano this year to go smoke free, county officials announced Friday.
Gateway Village, a 56-unit apartment complex located at 2000 PA Avenue, recently embraced the change.
“We hope this is the 1st of a lot of Solano County complexes to go smoke-free this year,” stated Wendy Loomas, health services manager for Solano Public World in a press statement. “We want to thank Gateway Village management for its willingness to make the changes and for providing a healthier place for their residents to live. We are partnering with 5 additional multi-unit housing complexes in Fairfield and Suisun City to go smoke-free this year.”
